Wanted: Volunteer Photographer for MS Bike – Airdrie to Olds

  By Kaitlyn Kerr

The MS Society of Canada is running a bike ride fundraiser for MS, and is looking for a volunteer photography coordinator for the weekend event. The two day ride, which starts in Airdrie and and finishes in Olds is approximately 180km and runs June 22nd and 23rd, 2019.

The position will be an estimated 30-hour time commitment, including the weekend (Saturday: 7am-7pm; Sunday: 8am-4pm) of the ride and two meetings, one before and and one after. The photography coordinator will be responsible for managing and directing a team of photographers, ensuring that all required photographs are obtained for the event and providing said images. The coordinator should be willing and able, familiar with various social media platforms, and a proactive thinker with organizational skills. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience and develop skill and leadership qualities with a well-respected and high-profile non-profit, work with a dynamic group of dedicated volunteers, and help make a difference in the lives of those with MS.

Interested applicants or further questions should be directed to Dionne Hemsley, Volunteer Coordinator.
