Paul Zizka’s Photography Books of The Canadian Rockies

  By John Veldhoen

We have received five titles from one of the Camera Store’s most beloved publishers, Rocky Mountain Books, are a wonderful keepsake and gift for those visiting Alberta this summer, or for local who love to get out to the mountains.

These books contain photographs by the brilliant, award-winning mountain landscape photographer Paul Zizka, of off-beaten-path places in Banff, Canmore, Lake Louise, Jasper, Kananaskis, Waterton, and Yoho. Paul has photographed Norway, Svalbard, Nepal, Baffin Island, Greenland, throughout the Caribbean, Hawaii, Niue, French Polynesia, and our landscape. He lives in Banff, Alberta.

All five titles are thoughtfully designed (look at the spine of  “Grandeur of the Canadian Rockies” and see a little hiker in red traversing the ridge of a peak), and come in a variety of sizes and affordable prices. Given that this year commemorates the 150th birthday of our country, these books are printed and published here in western Canada, and feature photographers from the region. Published in conjunction with Parks Canada making free admission to the Canada’s national parks throughout 2017, these books afford a primer to viewing the incredible beauty of this part of the world.

We highly recommend these books this summer as souvenirs to people near and far.
