Hasselblad Foundation 2022 Hasselblad Award Winner

Referred as the Nobel Prize in photography, the winner of the 2022 Hasselblad Award by The Hasselblad Foundation has been announced! A huge congratulations to Dayanita Singh for her pioneering achievements in the photographic arts and her impact on the next generation of photographers!

Dayanita Singh’s unique archival work, which documents the lives of archives while also bringing about a new way to interact and experience the art of photography, tells a story, both with each image and as a collective whole. The Hasselblad Foundation has awarded Dayanita’s incredible work with this year’s prize of SEK 2,000,000, a gold medal, and a diploma. What a tremendous honour and greatly deserved for Dayanita’s outstanding work!
