Calgary Creative Experience at Calgary Central Library

We are collaborating with Socality x Canon Creator Lab to bring you another incredible photographic experience! Calgary Creative Experience at Calgary Central Library is your chance to connect with local creators with exclusive private access to the Calgary Central Library along with talent, gear, and more on-site. Join us on February 26th to connect and create with the local community while exploring the architectural masterpiece of the Calgary Central Library, all while it’s closed to the public! This is a unique and incredible experience you won’t want to miss!

When:
Sunday, February 26th, 2023
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Check-In at Calgary Central Library

Cost:
Cover charge of $10
RSVP to secure your spot, as space is limited. 

Along with private access, there will also be designated models and talent on-site in styled areas for those interested in working with subjects. As part of our collaboration with the Canon Creator Lab program, a selection of Canon gear will be available to try, including mirrorless bodies and the latest lenses! If you’d like to borrow Canon equipment to shoot during the event, please bring your own SD Card and a valid piece of government ID. A limited amount of gear will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Light snacks and coffee will be provided.

Whether your interest lies in photography, videography, social media, or another creative discipline, these events are inclusive and open to everyone, regardless if you’re just starting out on your creative journey or have been in the industry for years.

This event will be great for anyone looking to:

  • Expand their creative network and meet others in the creative industry and community in Alberta and beyond.
  • Capture images/video in and around the Calgary Central Library and surrounding area in a fun and social atmosphere.
  • Try out a variety of Canon gear, including mirrorless bodies and lenses.
