2019 Japan Photo Contest

The Consulate-General of Japan’s 2019 Japan Photo Contest is now open for submissions! Submit up to four photos for your chance to win exciting prizes, including the grand prize of a Nikon D7500 & 18-140mm lens kit. Photos, taken in either Japan or Canada with a Japanese subject, can be entered into one of four categories:

  1. Culture, Food & Festivals
  2. Nature
  3. Cool Japan
  4. Movement & Sports – NEW this year in acknowledgement of the upcoming Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games

Entrants will have the chance to win prizes, receive a certificate from the Consul-General, and have their photo featured online, in events, and special promotions.

This is the 6th annual photo contest presented by the Consulate-General of Japan, in an attempt to promote awareness and appreciation for Japanese culture and further foster positive Japanese-Canadian relations.
