Winner of the Lowepro Trade-In Program

  By Evelyn Drake

In December we ran a Trade-In Program in partnership with Lowepro where our clients could trade in any bag in exchange for credit towards a new Lowepro Bag. After the promo ended we had the task of selecting the oldest or most well-used bag and the person who traded it in would receive a $200 gift card to The Camera Store.

All of the Lowepro bags that were traded in were in remarkably good shape which made it difficult to decide. Our team of judges finally selected Nathan Kho’s bag which was a Lowepro Orion II belt pack from the mid-nineties as the winning bag. We selected this bag because it was the least attractive bag of the bunch and one of the oldest. There were a couple old Photo Trekker backpacks (also from the nineties) that were traded in that could have been a close second.

Lowepro bags have always been known for their quality, style and functionality. They are still by far one of the largest collections of bags we carry and one of the most versatile. They continue to innovate new camera carrying systems with advice from photographers who use the products in the field. This means that if you purchase a new Lowepro bag today, you know that you get a product that has likely evolved from the initial design.
