Volunteers Needed for the Longest Mural in Canada

  By Kaitlyn Kerr

The Northern Hills Community Association is painting the longest mural in Canada this weekend. On August 4-6, from 8AM to 8PM each day, they are looking for you to join the 500+ volunteers involved. The mural will cover an 850-meter stretch of fence along Coventry Hills boulevard from Country Hills Blvd to Coventry Hills Way, approximately 18,000 square feet, and they’re looking for volunteer photographers and videographers to document this epic process.

This year, the Northern Hills Community Association turns 25, so they’re kicking things off with this mural. This is an enormous project that can only happen with support from volunteers, whether they are documenting the happening, controlling traffic, or doing some actual painting. If you’ve got some time this August Long Weekend, let them know when you can pop down and help bring this to life.
