The new OM-D E-M5 Mark III! Made to be light, and fast, with the best features, so it won’t ever slow you down. Inspired by its predecessor, the E-M5 Mark II, this adventurous new camera is ready to give you pro-quality with lots of upgrades. Now let’s just see how much Olympus upgraded, with a deeper look at the OM-D E-M5 Mark III.

The E-M5 Mark III has a few key features that Olympus really highlighted to show off just how to Break Free

Key Features:

  • Lightweight, Weather-sealed System
  • 20 MP Live MOS Sensor
  • 121-point all-cross-type Dual-Phase & Contrast Detection AF
  • 30FPS Silent Electronic Shutter
  • 5-Axis In-Body Image Stabilization with up to 6.5 EV Compensation (when used with compatible M.Zuiko Sync-IS lenses)
  • Cinema 4K Video with OM-D Movie
  • Versatile Shooting Features: Live Composite, 50MP Tripod HR Shot, Pro Capture, Focus Stacking

Looking at these key features, it is easy to tell that this camera was thoughtfully created. The weather sealing, when paired with a weather-sealed lens is splash-proof, dust-proof and freeze-proof, making this an excellent camera for any kind of environment where the weather may not be too forgiving. It has a 20MP Four Thirds sensor, which is quite a step up from the E-M5 Mark II. It now has Cinema 4K resolution, as well as 120 FPS slow motion in full HD, the first of its kind in the E-M5 line-up. Alongside, the 5-Axis In-Body Image Stabilization works in tough shooting environments to help you capture both great stills and video. This camera is really prepared to take on any crazy adventure you have in mind.

Some of the other noteworthy features that the E-M5 Mark III brings to the table are its 2.36M dot OLED Electronic Viewfinder, making it a really large and lovely viewfinder, especially for those with glasses. It has a 3.0-inch Vari-angle Touch tilting LCD touchscreen display, a newly designated custom and bulb mode on the mode dial, which has also been moved to the right to make one-handed operation easier. The body itself is still sleek and lightweight, but has a larger thumb rest and grip, making for a better hand feel and stabilization when shooting. It also has the ability to charge with a micro USB, allowing you another way of charging when you are away from power and has built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to make it easy to share your creativity with the world!
