The Hasselblad X1D is the world’s first mirrorless digital medium format camera. Weighing less than half of a conventional MF camera and crafted from quality durable materials, it takes design inspiration from the original V System. Weather and dust sealed to stand up to challenging conditions, delivering the revered image quality Hasselblad has pioneered since 1941. Its mirrorless body design and central lens shutter allows shooting noise to be kept very low allowing image capture without disturbing your subject.

Hasselblad announces a world-first with the lightest and most portable mirrorless digital medium format camera on the market today. With all the advantages of an H System camera, but in a compact size and durable build, the groundbreaking X1D embodies the iconic design and innovation of Victor Hasselblad’s original V System camera.
Since 1941, Hasselblad have been producing handmade medium format cameras in Sweden with uncompromising ergonomics and Scandinavian sensibility. The X1D follows these traditions, adding state of the art features such as Wi-Fi, GPS and a USB 3.0 Type-C connector to complement the award-winning 50MP CMOS sensor. The high-resolution electronic viewfinder offers a crisp, bright image for composition and the large rear touchscreen enables the user to compose in liveview.
To enhance the entirely new camera design we have produced a new range of lenses specifically engineered to match the high resolution capability of the X1D. The superb new XCD lenses deliver edge-to-edge sharpness in a compact form to elegantly match the slim build of the body.
Existing H System users also have the flexibility to use their existing lenses with the X1D by the way of an optional adapter.
The X1D has been created for passionate photographers, making Hasselblad quality accessible to a new generation of creatives.
