Subtle Sony Announcement

  By Ryley Smith

In a super subtle announcement, Sony has released updated versions of the Sony a7R III and a7R IV! These small improvements from the originals include little aesthetic changes and an improved rear LCD monitor.

Both the Sony a7R III and the Sony a7R IV are receiving the same changes with the first being the removal of the Sony logo from the rear LCD monitor.

The other change is an improved rear LCD monitor consisting of 2.36 million dots compared to the 1.44 million dots in the original models.  The definition of USB has been changed to “SuperSpeed USB 5Gbps (USB 3.2)”

Not huge updates, but updates nonetheless! Keep an eye out for more updates about these Sony cameras.
