Railway Days Photo Contest at Heritage Park

  By Kaitlyn Kerr

In preparation for Railway Days at the end of September, Heritage Park is having a photo contest! This year’s theme is “The Great Western Rail Adventure.” Entrants can submit as many photos as they would like that fit the theme. The top twenty photos will be determined by popular votes, so spread the word and get your friends and family involved. You can vote once per day.

Entries and votes will be accepted from now until September 16, 2018. The top twenty photos with the most votes will win one free admission to Railway Days and be digitally displayed during the event at Heritage Park on September 22nd and 23rd. Additionally, a panel will determine first, second, and third-place prizes, each of which will win admission, a canvas print of their photo and cash prize up to $100.

You can find more information and submit your photo here.

Railway Days is a unique two-day event where the rail collection at Heritage Park takes center stage. The event will feature special demonstrations such as an inside tour of the steam engine cab, a kid’s railway challenge, and storytelling demos. For more information, click here.
