On Friday, February 20th, we hosted a very special VIP Event with Panasonic. Joined by professional fashion photographer, Johan Sorensen, and Lumix Product Manager Trisha Gillings, the evening provided both product knowledge, hands-on demos, and a great presentation by Johan.

Sharing his professional portfolio and stories from his extensive experience, Johan’s presentation was both educational and entertaining. He gave a live demonstration on working with a model, and shared his own tips & tricks.

Attendees were given hands-on demos with the newest Panasonic gear, and entered to win a Panasonic Lumix DMX-LX100!

About Johan Sorensen

Born in Sweden, Johan spent much of his childhood in Paris where he discovered his interest for photography. Moving to Canada Johan studied photography at Humber College of Art. Since graduating he has worked as a commercial photographer, while pursuing his own artistic work. 

Awards

Best Commercial Photographer of the Year (Awarded by Kodak), Winner of French Photo’s Charm Category Annual Contest (published in French Photo as a cover), and Best in Class for Figure Study by PPO, among many other awards.
