Learn about the challenges you may encounter while taking travel photographs and get tips on techniques required to overcome them. A variety of speakers will be in the Travel Photography Seminar Theater. Entrance to these seminars is free with Admission to the The Outdoor Adventure and Travel Show. Join The Camera Store TV’s Jordan Drake and Chris Niccolls as they regale you with stories about their video adventures and misadventures. From the sweltering desert heat to the cruel depths of Alberta’s winters, fording dangerous rivers and climbing icy cliffs, Jordan and Chris have produced their popular Youtube channel in extreme out- door conditions.

Wildlife Photography Basics with Jim Slobodian

Getting started in wildlife photography isnʼt just about getting a big lens and heading out. (Although it can be fun!) In this seminar Jim will explain a few key things to consider before heading out in the wild including: what to photograph, researching your subject, wildlife photography ethics, gear selection, and more.

Photojournalist Mike Drew captures unique places all around the world and publishes a selection of his nature photographs weekly in his column featured in the Calgary Sun. In this presentation Mike will walk you through some of the most stunning places Alberta has to offer and will share stories of his prairie photography adventures, encounters with wildlife, and more.
