The Paul Kuhn Gallery is pleased to present an exhibition of new photographs by renowned Canadian photographer Edward Burtynsky. The exhibit, WATER is the most ambitious and expansive series of work by the artist. This series of photographs chronicles the vital importance of water in sustaining life on our planet: water as a source of healthy ecosystems and energy, a key element in cultural and religious rituals, and most importantly, a rapidly depleting natural resource. These new works coincide with the release of BURTYNSKY WATER a new book published by Steidl and a documentary film WATERMARK, co-directed by Edward Burtynsky and Jennifer Baichwal.
