Call for Donations for Silent Auction (Photography, Art and Other Items)

The Walking in Their Shoes Calgary Fundraiser, hosted byCameras4Change, is seeking donations of photography and other art for their silent auction. The items will be put in a silent auction to raise funds for future international and Canadian photography workshops.
There will be two silent auctions as part of the event:
1. 1-Day Silent auction that closes on the night of the Walking in Their Shoes Fundraiser on December 5, 2013
2. Closed-Bid silent auction that runs the entire exhibit (December 5, 2013 – January 30, 2014)
Donation Criteria & Terms
1. 1-Day Silent Auction:
• Accepting the following items:
o Ready-to-hang and/or framed photography, paintings or other artwork
o Photography books
o Photographic equipment or accessories (new/unused only or please contact)
o Other art objects including carvings, sculptures and jewelry
o Photography and/or Art classes, workshops or photo session certificates
o Gift baskets/wine baskets (please contact)
o Other items (please contact)
• Pieces in the 1-day silent auction will be auctioned off during the Walking in Their Shoes Fundraiser event held on Thursday December 5.
• Cameras4Change reserves the right to refuse items
2. Closed-Bid Silent Auction
• Accepting the following items:
o Framed and/or Ready-to-Hang photography
o Framed and/or Ready-to-Hang artwork including paintings, sculptures, carvings, etc.
• Pieces in the Closed-Bid silent auction will be placed on display in the Peanut Gallery for the duration of the exhibit. Bidders will place their closed bids in a sealed box with the winner announced at the closing of the exhibit. This provides an opportunity to display to a wide audience for two months!
• Cameras4Change reserves the right to refuse items

• Description of item
• Bio of artist (if applicable)
