We are excited to announce we have collaborated with Socality x Canon Creator Lab to bring you a unique holiday creative experience at the Calgary Marriott Downtown. Join us on the afternoon of December 11th, 2022, where you’ll have the opportunity to connect with the local creative community while also getting your hands on a selection of Canon gear, including mirrorless bodies and the latest lenses!
This private event will centre around the Calgary Marriott’s rooftop skating rink as the sun goes down. Nearby Stephen Avenue will also be decked out in lights, and you’ll have a beautiful assortment of views and creative opportunities to shoot!
Winter weather can be unpredictable, so you’ll have access to a room adjacent to the rooftop patio to warm up if it’s a little chilly and grab some snacks and hot chocolate. There will also be a few figure skaters on-site to photograph, and you’ll be able to bring your own skates if you’d like to take advantage of the rooftop rink!
If you’d like to borrow Canon equipment to shoot during the event, please bring your own SD Card and a valid piece of government ID. A limited amount of gear will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
When: Sunday, December 11th, 2022 – 2:00 – 5:00 PM MST
Where: Check-In on Calgary Marriott Downtown Rooftop (110 9 Ave SE, Calgary, AB T2G 5A6)
