A new professional camera has hit the market and is ready to help you break free. The Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark III is compact, light and powerful, offering pro-quality shooting for any situation. Taking the best qualities of its predecessors while adding promising new features, the OM-D E-M1 Mark III is ready to open up your possibilities.
The E-M1 Mark III is the successor of the Mark II, taking much of its compact and lightweight size along with high-speed performance while implementing the high-quality image and reliability of the E-M1X. Upgrading from these earlier models, the E-M1 Mark III has a high quality 20.4 MP Live MOS sensor and a new TruePic IX image processor. This opens up possibilities for Handheld High-Res which delivers up to 50MP resolution in a portable body and Tripod High-Res which captures 80MP while fixed on a tripod.
Olympus also introduced Starry Sky Auto Focus, which is a new algorithm specifically dedicated to night skies and lets the user break free from manual focusing and allows them to choose between Speed Priority Mode or Accuracy Priority Mode. The E-M1 Mark III also substantially improved the sensitivity, minimum detectable size and traceability of eye/face Auto Focus. Additionally, Live ND (Neutral Density) allows users to skip any troubles of changing filters.
The E-M1 Mark III has the world’s most effective image stabilization which compensates up to 7.5 shutter speed steps. It also has 60fps Sequential Shooting, 4K Movie, customizable AF Target Modes, Electronic LCD Viewfinder, and a weather-sealed body, in all making this an excellent camera for any professional.
Alongside the Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark III, Olympus has introduced the newest addition to the M.Zuiko PRO Lens Lineup, the M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-45mm F4.0 PRO.
This is a high-performance, medium-range zoom lens, which just so happens to be the world’s smallest and lightest* of its kind, making it the perfect all-around lens. Its compact size in addition to being splash and dustproof makes this the ideal camera for adventures and travel as it can withstand some of the harshest conditions. With a high-performance AF system, superb close-up shooting capabilities, and a maximum shooting magnification of 0.5x across the entire zoom range, this little lens packs a lot of power.
