This July we had a legend in Calgary for our Stampede Field Photography Workshop. Photographer and writer William Albert Allard has been a major force at National Geographic and in mainstream photography for almost 50 years. Not only did we have the privilege of having one of the most highly acclaimed photographers in the world to lead this workshop, we also had the opportunity to work with Stampede directors to gain special access around the grounds. Our group of twelve were able to shoot from incredible vantage points that are normally not granted to the general public.
A big thank you to the twelve participants and everyone who was involved to make this experience possible. Here are some of the photographs the participants captured during the workshop by: Akshay Shetty, Brian Hayward, Joanne Johnson, Ottmar Philipp, Derrell Wyshynski, Ron Baker, Ross Dance, Jessica Gergely.
